pitch feedback

Image
I have delivered my pitch and gained some feedback on google forms this is what I found out. Question 1 I am quite pleased as most people actually understood what my idea was so this means that they aint guessing what to say about my idea and the feedback is honest. Question 2 As you can see there is a mixed rating on my idea which gives me some good feedback to work with as some people said it was okay others thought it was useless which helps me as I can focus on improving these results.

Rationale documentary

Image
In order to have my documentary green lit I must create a rationale here is mine.

Finding my target audience survey.

Image
I have created a survey which narrows down my target audience for my documentary.   As you can see I am aiming for an audience aged between 16 to 18 as a lot of the younger generation doesn't understand the capabilities of media and how it can effect you. The gender of my audience can be mixed as gender doesn't matter and can be balanced as everyone these days use social media. The results shown can help me a lot as it narrows down a specific age I need to aim for which will help me limit and research into this age range. As you can see a lot of the younger generation doesn't watch the BBC which is quite worrying as that's where you see a lot of documentary's and this could be a problem as this could mean they don't like documentary's. This piece of evidence helps me as I now need to make my project interesting and i need to make it appeal to my audience.  Lastly this helps me as I have asked my audience how long a documentary normally is. This is good as t...

technology research

There is so many ways to film in the modern era as technology is advancing rapidly giving of great results which is helping the media industry. Here are some great results I found.   Drone Drones are used in a lot of films today to mainly capture helicopter and Birdseye view. This is great as it saves a lot of expense and saves you actually hiring a helicopter which will be very expensive. Drones also come equipped with many different types of lenses which are quite interesting.   Modern drones are capable of flying up to 100mph while recording up to 6K RAW footage which is excellent as all you are doing is controlling the drone from the ground and having fun flying it getting the shots you need. A lot  of drones are small and can be carried in a bag which is excellent as they also are very light and not heavy at all. Most drones are cheap and can be bought from a price range of 80 pound to 1000 it all depends on the lens and quality of...
