post production documentary
Once I finished filming I then started to edit the finale product.
I started by uploading the footage to premiere pro from the SD card. This took careful thinking as I had a lot of out takes which I needed to sort and delete. After I sorted the footage I clicked import then uploaded the footage I was going to use.
Once the footage was uploaded onto premier pro it was just a simple step of putting the footage together and cutting the bits I don't want in. After I was happy with the smoothness and the transition of my documentary I then started to finalize and put things in order.
Problems I faced.
One major problem I faced was my files got corrupted which meant I had to film all my footage again which made me lose some time and put me way behind. This was very bad as meeting a deadline means time management so I had to reschedule time to re-film the corrupted footage This meant getting my cast once again which also put them behind on there projects. However we solved this by using two hours of our break to re-film which meant it didn't feed into lesson time and got me back on track. The other problem I faced was issues regarding software which was very confusing as myself and a professional I consulted couldn't identify the problem. This was bad as the problem was it wouldn't let me save my project which meant I had to edit my documentary all in one day.
As you can see I have worked very hard to over come these problems and fix them the best I can.
